Turner Turner

Tonight I had a nice dinner with friends.
After long hours of talking and drinking, we decided to become collectors and we had to choose the works of art we would have, for one reason or another, in our house.
It was a very interesting conversation, that revealed a lot about our personal tastes and opinions about art.
I opted for a Rafaello in my bedroom, a Nicolas de Stael in the living room, a Gurky (or a Broothaers) in the kitchen, a Malevich in the studio, Doug Aitken, Nan Goldin and Steve McQueen around the place, together with Joao Onofre's 'Casting'... the list would go on and on...
About the silly Turner prizes, my vote would go for Darren Almond, who I sincerely hope he wins.
